The Samsung Galaxy Note

The new Samsung Galaxy Note blurs the lines between Tablet and Smartphone. With a massive 5.3 inch HD Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1280 X 800 it is easily the biggest cellphone available on the market today. Samsung has classified it as a Tablet/Phone and considering what it is capable of doing, it may very well be the best hybrid experience available.

The internals of the machine feature a dual core 1.4GHz CPU with 1GB of RAM coupled with 16/32GB of internal storage (which can be expanded with a Micro SD card). On the back of the device is an 8 Megapixel camera with an LED flash that can also record video in full high definition (1920 x 1080p) at 30 frames per second. The front of the device is dominated by that big 5.3″ display which looks spectacular (as all Super AMOLED displays do). The colour saturation and the brightness make it difficult to want anything else once you;ve seen the amazing images on the Galaxy Note’s display.

The Note come’s with one very important addition to it. It is in fact the feature that gives the device its name. The S-Pen is a capacitive stylus that is stored inside the Note and using the bespoke apps built for it (S-Planner, S-Memo) turns your Note from a cellphone to a Tablet with a myriad of new functions instantaneously.
